We might not be able to bring you our annual pantomime, however that won’t stop us from entertaining our audiences safely this Christmas in our specially designed Social Distancing Auditorium!
Join Jim Hawkins as he sets sail to find the lost treasure of Captain Flint, but will the evil Sea Witch foil their plans and get the treasure for herself?
Starring Harlow favourites Ben Parsley and Jimmy Burton Iles alongside a professional cast and brought to you by the creative team behind our Christmas Pantomimes, audiences can expect all the mayhem and madness they’ve come to expect from a Harlow Playhouse Production – Your Playhouse!

Brand new weekly group harmony singing sessions led by Nathan Stickley (GSA) for people in the local CM area. These group singing sessions are very relaxed and informal, they involve close 2-4 part harmonies, arrangements of old classics, new stuff, funk, soul, folk - anything!
Monday and Tuesday Street Dance classes including Hip Hop, House, Locking, Popping, Krump and Breaking. For ages 3 to adult in all ability levels. Opportunities to perform on Playhouse stages. Professional dance crew supports events across the UK. Come along for a FREE trial!
Sunday classes including comedy and drama, musical theatre and film and television. Opportunities to perform on Playhouse stages and elsewhere. Professional agency.
Regular productions and rehearsals. Twice-yearly musical productions for young people, with open auditions and a series of rehearsals for each production. Opportunities to perform on Playhouse stages.
Regular weekly workshops involving improvisation, theatre devising, music and dance. Building friendships, confidence and self esteem; whilst making challenging and exciting theatre to perform throughout our community.

A 20-minute walk from Harlow Playhouse and you can find yourself at Pets’ corner. A small, friendly farm located in Harlow Town Park. It has a large selection of traditional farm animals, such as rabbits, chickens and ducks, more exotic animals such as Reindeer, Llamas and Alpacas, as well as a number of rare breeds including Middle White pigs. Pets’ Corner is free to enter but welcomes donations in the box on site. You can feed some of the animals for 50p a bag, available from our gift shop.
We have free wifi, tasty cakes, sandwiches, pizzas, toasties and hundreds of books for you to try – what more could you want? Come in for a cuppa and take a break from the hustle and bustle of Harlow life. Open 10.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Saturday. Evening bar service is only available on event evenings. If there are events on a Sunday, our Cafe Bar will be open 1 hour before the scheduled event.
We have lots of community groups here at Harlow Playhouse, including Senior safe and social, Bereavement Cafe and Knitting Club.
