Harlow Playhouse Trust host a Luvvies Tea & Chat, on a regular basis, in our Cafe Bar. This is another great opportunity for theatre loving groups and individuals to network chat and gossip over a cuppa and maybe even cake!

This event has led to some exciting projects getting started and has brought a world premiere production to Harlow Playhouse.

We are proud to be a breast-feeding friendly cafe. We also have a lovely corner in the gallery, which is dedicated to all things kids, complete with mini secret cinema, dressing up rail, games, bean bags, puzzles, books and a colouring station!

After a series of consultations, Harlow Playhouse’s customer toilet facilities will be going under refurbishment, from Monday 1st July 2019 to Friday 30th August 2019. This necessary maintenance will take place to create a more user friendly experience at our venue, as a result of customer feedback. We’d like to say a big thank you everyone who donated towards this project, through our online & box office booking system.

Temporary toilet facilities will be provided for the duration of this work, located externally, between St Paul’s Church and Harlow Playhouse. Toilet signs with arrows will depict your route.

If you have any additional needs or any questions ahead of a visit to our venue, which aren't detailed already, please contact our team on playhouse.boxoffice@harlow.gov.uk or via 01279 431945.

Why does it have to happen at that time?

As the works cannot be completed in the 4 weeks we are dark this year, we had to extend into the season, to give us the best chance of completing the project on time.

Why is Harlow Playhouse getting this done?

We are responding to customer feedback made through our post show analysis. The kind donations of those who have booked through our ticketing system has assisted us in this project. This will give our customers & organiastions using our facilities a more user friendly experience.

Where are the temporary toilets?

Go towards Door 2 and down the stairs, or out the front of the building to the left if you are an Accessible toilet user. The pathways are sign posted. Members of our Front of House team will be more than happy to assist if you're unsure.

Where are the temporary toilets?

There isn’t suitable space inside the theatre to accommodate the quantity of facilities needed. Accessible toilets have to be accessed via a ramp and this was the most user friendly solution.

We thank you for your support and co-operation during this period.
