HATS are pleased to present, for the 5th year running, David Palmer’s A Cockney Ding Dong!

Step back in time to the East End of London in the 1940s, where times may be tough, but there’s always a reason to get together, raise a glass and have a good old-fashioned sing-song.

Join us in Joe and Alice’s parlour as family, friends and neighbours squeeze in to celebrate Uncle Jim’s birthday in the only way they know how – with a proper Cockney Ding Dong!

The drinks are flowing, the piano is playing and everyone has a song to sing, a story to tell or a joke to share. And, of course, no East End knees-up would be complete without plenty of audience participation.

Packed with traditional Cockney favourites, music hall classics, wartime songs and plenty of laughs, A Cockney Ding Dong recreates the warmth, humour and community spirit of a 1940s East End parlour party.
