 OFFLINE  is a bold new dance theatre production by Hip Hop Pop Ltd.  Blending the company’s signature street styles—hip hop, house, locking, and more—with fresh unique movement languages and unexpected musical choices, this original work pushes beyond anything previously seen in HHP’s repertoire.

The story unfolds through the eyes of one family—two parents, three siblings, and the son’s girlfriend—each navigating their own personal struggles, relationships, and identities. When the world suddenly goes offline—not just Wi-Fi, but all power—their lives are thrown into chaos. As society begins to shift, the family is forced to confront disconnection in its rawest form: from technology, from routine, and from each other.

Through powerful and emotive dance storytelling, OFFLINE explores how humanity adapts when stripped of modern comforts. Does the absence of constant connection bring people closer together, or expose deeper fractures? And when (or if) power returns, can we truly go back to who we were before—or are we changed forever?

A thought-provoking evolution from themes hinted at in HHP’s 2024 production Shadows, OFFLINE dives deeper into our relationship with technology and the impact it may or may not have on our lives.
