Playhouse Fun Day 2026 – Dance Classes

Terms: 

By booking a place on the free children’s workshop delivered by Hip Hop Pop (“the Provider”) at Harlow Playhouse, the parent/guardian agrees to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. Participation & Physical Activity

I understand that dance and physical activity carry inherent risks. I confirm that the participant is voluntarily taking part with full knowledge of these risks.

2. Health & Medical Conditions

To the best of my knowledge, the participant has no medical condition, illness or injury that would prevent safe participation. Should any relevant condition arise prior to the workshop, I agree to inform theatre staff or a Hip Hop Pop team member.

3. Medical Information & Medication

If the participant has a medical condition requiring medication or an action plan, I agree to provide full details when booking (to the Theatre) and ensure the participant arrives with all required medication. Hip Hop Pop and the Theatre accept no responsibility should medication not be supplied.

4. Questions & Understanding

I confirm I have had the opportunity to ask questions about the workshop and that any questions have been answered satisfactorily.

5. Liability

Hip Hop Pop accepts no liability for injury, illness, or incident resulting from:

• undeclared medical conditions, or
• misuse of equipment or failure to follow instructions.

The Theatre and Hip Hop Pop accept no responsibility for loss of personal belongings.

6. Media Permission

I give permission for photographs or video footage of the participant taken during the workshop to be used by Harlow Playhouse & Hip Hop Pop for publicity, including social media, website, print and digital marketing.

7. Behaviour & Conduct

The following behaviours are not tolerated:

• bullying of any kind
• unsafe behaviour
• disregard for staff instructions
• explicit or aggressive language

Hip Hop Pop reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour poses a risk or disrupts the workshop.

8. Clothing & Equipment

Participants must wear suitable clothing and footwear, and must not wear jewellery during the session. Only bottled drinks (preferably water) may be brought into the space.

9. Supervision (Under 16s)

Children remain the responsibility of their parent/guardian throughout the workshop.

10. Data Handling

All personal data provided when signing up is collected and held by The Harlow Playhouse, in accordance with their privacy policy. Hip Hop Pop does not collect or store participant data for this workshop.

11. Safety & Compliance

Hip Hop Pop and the Theatre reserve the right to refuse participation if necessary to maintain safety, safeguarding, or compliance with venue procedures.
