Harlow Creates

Harlow Creates is the Local Cultural Education Partnership (LCEP) for Harlow. The lead partner of Harlow Creates is Harlow Council and the partnership sits as a subgroup of the Harlow Health and Wellbeing Board. Harlow Creates brings together over 60 partners from across the arts, culture & heritage and education sectors, as well as community partners operating in the town.

We facilitate partnership working across Harlow and collaborate to identify and address need and opportunity. We support partners in delivering work which supports our mission and vision. Harlow Creates formed as an LCEP in 2022.

Harlow is a place where creativity is valued and at the heart of our community. The arts, culture and heritage sector is high quality, ambitious, dynamic, inclusive, relevant, and robust. Residents of all ages are inspired to be creative and there is justice in access to diverse quality arts, culture and heritage opportunities.

To increase access to arts, culture and heritage experiences for Harlow residents. To support individuals and organisations working in the arts, culture and heritage sector within the town. To facilitate communication and collaboration across arts, culture and heritage, community, education sectors and beyond within Harlow. To support the health and wellbeing of Harlow residents through engagement with creativity.

Children, young people and adults living in, working in or visiting Harlow.

1. Artists, creative practitioners, individuals and organisations working in the arts, culture and heritage sector in and around Harlow.
2. Educators, individuals and organisations who work with people of any age to facilitate learning.
3. Individuals and organisations of any sector wanting to work with arts, culture and heritage in Harlow.
