Susie has worked at the Harlow Playhouse for 17 years now, with a couple of years out maternity leave to have two little boys. Arguably her best two years!! I know what you’re thinking she would probably have served less time for murder, which just goes to prove what a magical place the Harlow Playhouse is. She started work on a causal basis with shifts on the bar and box office and is now the front of house manager. She has seen lots of change in the building and some of the most amazing theatre, something she is incredibly grateful for. After the birth of the two children Susie returned to work, she was inspired to write her own show about her story of motherhood, which she has premiered at Harlow Playhouse and has since toured nationally for two years .

She has met her best friends here, laughs daily even on the worst days and counts herself lucky to be surrounded everyday by creatives who strive to make the world a more colourful and wonderful place to be through theatre.
